Mutual Friend Ice Cream

Mutual Friend shares its Juniper Street storefront with Dark Horse Coffee Roasters, connected by a pair of glass double doors, and was started by a relative of the coffee shop's owners. The shop opened in 2018 making small-batch ice cream on site, with a chalkboard menu that has included Madagascar vanilla bean, a Dark Horse coffee flavor, and a raspberry rose sorbet alongside vegan sorbets. Staff let customers taste through the options before choosing. After Dark Horse closes at six, Mutual Friend keeps serving its neighbor's coffee alongside the scoops.
