Nobu Downtown

Nobu's Financial District dining room sits partly below street level, built around a long sushi bar ringed with the brand's signature tree sculptures. The kitchen serves the Nobu standards: black cod marinated in miso, yellowtail with jalapeño, rock shrimp tempura, plated family-style with cold dishes first, then hot, then sushi and dessert last. A separate bar and lounge runs a happy hour called Tanoshi Hour on weekday evenings, and a prix-fixe menu covers weekday lunch.
