Treehouse Coffee Company owns the wine bar next door too, and the family resemblance shows in a bohemian, retro-craft feel carried through both rooms. Rather than one open floor, angular partitions break the interior into smaller, off-square nooks along El Cajon Boulevard. The wine list stays affordable and leans toward pours by the glass, backed by a short menu of small plates and flatbreads. It's a compact space built for a couple of glasses rather than a full dinner.
