Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPA)

Photography, film, and video now show inside Casa de Balboa at 1649 El Prado, since the once-independent Museum of Photographic Arts merged with the San Diego Museum of Art on July 1, 2023. The gallery kept its own admission and its own rotating exhibitions rather than folding into SDMA's main building across the park, and programming runs to artist conversations, ASL tours, and workshops alongside the photography on the walls. It's open Thursday through Sunday.
