Forbidden Cove

Hidden behind a cloaked entrance inside Kilowatt Brewing in Kearny Mesa, this tiki speakeasy opened in November 2019 under neon and blacklight-lit decor. The drink list mixes tropical tiki cocktails with the brewery's own hard seltzers and small-batch beers. A table can be reserved through OpenTable, though the bar holds back a handful of seats each night for walk-ins.
