Gilly’s House of Cocktails

Erick Castro and partner Jacob Mantel bought this University Heights bar and renamed it Gilly's House of Cocktails, adding drinks like the Pale Rider and the Twilight Samurai while keeping the Bud Light and Pineapple Skyy Vodka regulars already knew. They also pulled the blackout tint off the windows and dropped karaoke. Food still comes from next door -- hot slices and subs from Gnarly Girl Pizza -- while the pool table and a patio bar out back both survived the remodel.
