Kindred Cocktail Bar

Owner Kory Stetina built this South Park bar with design firm Consortium Holdings, filling the room with pale-pink toile wallpaper, gothic windows, and a wolf sculpture with four eyes and bared fangs, while a metal playlist heavy on punk and thrash plays underneath. The all-vegan kitchen serves dishes like chargrilled seitan skewers, congee with shiitake mushrooms, and a seitan riff on the Swedish meatball called the Abba Burger, alongside cocktails such as a Blackened Manhattan and a mezcal-and-jalapeno-hibiscus Pyroclasm. Vintage candelabras light the room at night, and VegNews named it the country's best vegan bar.
