Plus de Vin

A trio of industry veterans, Carenn and Max Mackinnon with restaurateur Chad Carey, took over the Graham Avenue space that Pheasant had held for six years to open Plus de Vin. There's no printed wine list: bottles rotate up front near the register, and the person behind the counter doubles as sommelier while food and drink get ordered together, coffee-shop style. A chef with ties to Libertine turns out small plates like peekytoe crab toast, tartare and country pate, though the kitchen plays second to what's being poured. A back patio with potted plants and a shade structure holds the overflow. Tuesdays bring a mystery flight that's free to anyone who guesses right.
