Red Hook Winery

Pier 41 in Red Hook holds the winery's tasting room, a space built from reclaimed wood, exposed brick and barrels doing duty as tables, with the water visible past the pilings outside. A three-person winemaking team drives around New York State each harvest, pulling grapes from the North Fork and Seneca Lake rather than growing its own. A seated tasting runs through six wines with a guide over 30 to 45 minutes, and a shorter flight of four pours is available at the bar alongside tinned fish, cheese and charcuterie.
