A secluded back garden and a sidewalk cafe give this Hell's Kitchen wine bar two different ways to sit outside, on top of a taverna-style bar and a separate wine cellar room inside. The Spanish-Mediterranean menu runs from small plates meant to go with wine, like lamb albondigas in tempranillo sauce and ham-and-cheese risotto croquettes, up to larger dishes such as a whole roasted Cornish hen or a seafood couscous casserole. Happy hour draws an early crowd on 9th Avenue, and neighborhood regulars keep tables full through the rest of the night. Reservations run through Resy, OpenTable or Yelp.
