Same Same Wine Bar

Avi Singh, Rishi Rajpal and David Muhs, the trio behind Monkey Thief, turned that same West 47th Street space into a wine-forward bar pouring six rotating glasses from small producers in places like Slovakia, Catalonia and Franken. Chef David Sullivan runs a shareable menu built around shrimp toast, shrimp cavatelli and Korean fried chicken, finishing with a Chelsea tart or a Basque cheesecake. The list, chosen by Olivia Moran, changes weekly and favors small, independent producers over familiar labels. Beyond wine, the bar pours boilermakers and low-ABV cocktails, with seating built to fit groups of any size.
