The whole wine list here pours by the glass, a mix of old and new world bottles that turns over often enough that the bartender-owner sometimes has guests taste a rose before it's added. A small, dimly lit front room sits behind exposed brick, with a back room that opens up for larger groups. Food runs to shareable plates: a Sicilian eggplant caponata and a meat-and-cheese board labeled with small flags for each cheese. Happy hour runs weekday afternoons, and the kitchen closes at 10 while the bar stays open later.
