A few tables at 41 Monroe Street hold the same things most nights: a glass of natural wine, a cup of Brooklyn-roasted coffee, and a book somebody hasn't finished. Tinto runs as a cafe by day and shifts to a wine bar after dark, pouring small-batch bottles from South America and Iberia next to arepas and other Colombian-leaning small plates. The room is small enough that the stereo stays low, so conversation carries over the music rather than under it.
