Founder Sebastien Auvet built the wine list here around small producers rather than big names, aiming for value over prestige across French regions. The Midtown East dining room goes for a Parisian bistro look, with white tablecloths and a red-and-white awning out front on 51st Street. The kitchen sticks to the classics, moules mariniere with frites, a twelve-ounce ribeye steak frites, boeuf bourguignon simmered until the beef falls apart, while a happy hour drops the price of a glass before 6pm and takes a quarter off bottles after 10.
