French for 'among friends,' the name suits a 33-page wine list heavy on low-intervention bottles, including a gamay by the glass, served alongside small plates like oeuf mayonnaise, leeks in vinaigrette, and tartiflette croquettes made with reblochon. The bar is the sibling project of Fradei, the bistro a few blocks over in Fort Greene, sharing its appetite for natural wine over polish. Plates run small, so a table ordering several rounds adds up quickly, dish by dish. On a full night, the windows fog up with the crowd packed along the bar.
