A century-old Harlem theater lobby, restored as part of a hotel redevelopment, now leads into this fifth-floor restaurant inside the Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel. A grand piano anchors the bar, where jazz plays nightly, and the marble lobby bar and lounge overlook 125th Street. Gulf Coast and Creole references run through the kitchen's Gumbo Ya Ya and a buttermilk fried chicken plate, alongside shrimp and grits and hot chicken sandwiches.
