Named after the owner's dog, this East Village wine bar pairs a Korean-Brazilian menu -- he grew up in Korea, then spent decades in Brazil -- with a wine list built for both. The walls are hung with hiking gear and photos of friends instead of a designed look, and after 5pm it runs an honor-system oyster night where guests shuck their own and keep their own count on the tab. The bar skips reservations altogether, asking guests not to call ahead about wait times.
