Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden

Built in 1910 by the Bohemian Citizens' Benevolent Society of Astoria, this beer garden survived Prohibition and still belongs to the same community organization. More than 100 picnic tables fill the yard alongside an indoor bar and restaurant serving pierogies, goulash, chicken paprikash and schnitzel next to a rotating list of Czech and Slovak beers on tap. The calendar runs to live music, silent discos, and Champions League matches shown outside. It's closed Mondays except for private events.
