The Metro exit from 7th Street/Metro Center comes up on the same plaza level of The Bloc as this yakitori bar, which sits beside the open-air courtyard with a heated patio. The grill does chicken thigh with green onion, hearts, and meatballs with an egg yolk dip. Past the skewers the menu wanders: squid ink karaage, a soft-shell crab "taco," bone marrow with garlic mochi bread. Drinks lean on Japanese whisky, by the flight or in highballs, and happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday afternoons. An Alamo Drafthouse cinema shares the center.
