A doorway hung with PVC flaps leads into this narrow Sunset Boulevard spot, where paper lanterns and red lighting cover a room built around an L-shaped bar with samurai films playing silently on a screen behind it. The kitchen keeps the menu short: pork and vegetable gyoza plus a handful of other plates. There are no reservations and no table service beyond the bar, with techno playing over the speakers and the whole operation run as a walk-in-only stop rather than a sit-down dinner.
