A rotating carousel bar, its canopy strung with lights and small chandeliers, anchors the pool deck at Golden Hour, eight floors above Figueroa Street atop the AC Hotel in the Level 8 complex. Swing seats, private cabanas and a fire pit ring two pools finished in Rio-style patterned tile, part of the Houston Brothers' design for the building. A DJ booth keeps the deck moving from afternoon swims into the after-dark set, with fire dancers turning up on some nights. Cocktails lean tropical, and the poolside chairs fill fastest at sunset.
