Eight floors up on the roof of the Kimpton Hotel Wilshire, Videre replaced The Roof on Wilshire with a pool, a fire pit and views of the hills beyond Mid-Wilshire. The kitchen, drawing on Los Angeles's mix of culinary traditions, opens for brunch on weekends and stays open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Cocktails come from the team behind Employees Only in West Hollywood, with names borrowed from office email chains, like the vodka mule "Per My Last Email." A weekday happy hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m.
