Rodeo Drive

Three palm-lined blocks between Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevards make up the retail core of Beverly Hills' Golden Triangle, flanked by the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Beverly Wilshire. The street began as a bridle path through lima bean fields before Giorgio Beverly Hills opened the first luxury boutique in the 1960s; more than a hundred flagship stores line it, including a Givenchy storefront designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and the cobblestone promenade of Two Rodeo Drive. A vintage-car parade, the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance, has rolled down the street every Father's Day for nearly three decades.
