Cookbook

Since the team behind Jon & Vinny's took over, this micro-grocery on Echo Park Avenue stocks Meiji tofu, Straus Family Creamery dairy, Sightglass coffee, and a shelf of actual cookbooks alongside imported tinned fish and cured meats. A deli case in back turns out prepared salads and sandwiches made in-house, plus French cooking knives and hard-to-find pantry items for anyone cooking dinner instead of going out. It's open daily from 8am to 8pm.
