Behind a facade built to look like an ordinary corner store, this shop on Sunset Boulevard sells robot milk, barbarian repellent, and other goods organized by era: prehistoric, present-day, and far future. It fronts 826LA's tutoring center, and every sale funds the nonprofit's free writing programs for young people.
