
Doug Weston opened this West Hollywood club as a coffee house in 1957 before it settled into its current room on Santa Monica Boulevard, and Neil Diamond introduced Elton John here for his first American show in August 1970, launching a six-night residency. A community fundraising push kept the doors open through the pandemic, and today's calendar runs indie rock, bluegrass, hip-hop and country. It admits all ages regardless of who's on the bill.
