The Echo

The name Nayarit is still emblazoned on the Sunset Boulevard facade from the building's life as a Latin restaurant and nightclub before The Echo opened here in 2001. The room holds just 350 people on a small general-admission floor in front of the stage, with a bar and two restrooms tucked to the side, and it has built a reputation for booking acts like Billie Eilish, St. Vincent and Kendrick Lamar before they broke out. Downstairs, the sister room Echoplex holds a larger crowd, and Live Nation took over both venues from Spaceland Productions in 2019.
