Tucked at the back of The Grayson, itself behind the DTLA handroll spot Temaki Society on Broadway, this rock bar hides behind graffiti-covered walls and neon signage. A second level holds a small stage that runs a steady bill of punk, post-punk, goth, industrial, and EBM, with shows some nights swinging as far as metal or hip-hop. Downstairs stays free to get into and pours unfussy cocktails from a soda gun; upstairs shows are ticketed and can carry a cover. Most nights the mood stays mellow, though it swings rowdier depending on who's playing.
