Osa Rooftop

On the roof of the AC Hotel Pasadena, at the corner of Colorado Boulevard and Madison Avenue on the Rose Parade route, this open-air terrace has a view of the San Gabriel Mountains. It's built around a mature olive tree, with fire pits and string lights for after sunset. Dishes are meant to be shared: stuffed olives and spiced nuts with Baja honey, tuna tartare, beef carpaccio, then grilled swordfish or steak frites and olive oil cake. Brunch is weekends only, and booking ahead is recommended.
