Behind a fake wall of stacked kegs inside Neighborhood restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter, this 32-seat speakeasy takes its name from a nickname for Prohibition and pours nothing but pre-Prohibition-style spirits. There's no food and no printed menu most nights; bartenders take a guest's flavor preferences and mix from a repertoire of hundreds of drinks, cutting ice by hand from 300-pound blocks. A seat requires a reservation by text, confirmed only hours before the visit.
