710 Beach Club

A fixture of the Garnet Avenue strip since 1989, 710 Beach Club has outlasted almost every other bar on the block as Pacific Beach's longest-running live-music venue. Trivia runs Tuesdays, open mic Wednesdays, live bands play every Saturday, and karaoke takes over Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, often with a live backing band. The kitchen keeps a full bar going until 2 a.m. and turns out American staples through brunch and late night, while the dog-friendly patio overlooks the boardwalk toward Crystal Pier. Happy hour swings from frozen slushie flights to cheap draft beer and tacos depending on the day of the week.
