On India Street, British expatriates opened this pub in 1990, giving the interior an old-world Tudor look with large picture windows and wrapping a deck patio around the outside. The kitchen double-fries its fish and chips in the traditional style, which has won the pub CityBeat's Best Fish & Chips title 12 years running, and cask-conditioned ale flows from one of the city's few beer engines. Darts stay a fixture, and the screens run English and European soccer through the Premier League and Champions League seasons.
