The Office Bar

Cocktails have poured at this North Park address since 1948, when it opened as Club Belvedere; it became The Office by 1956, and George Scolari ran it as the punk-friendly Scolari's Office starting in 1983. A 2008 remodel restored the older name, a change some longtime punk regulars first read as gentrification. In 2015, booker Allen Colaneri added live rock, punk, jazz and a monthly folk night called the Grand Ole Office, backed by an extended happy hour with deep discounts on beer and cocktails.
