Bar Hugo Rooftop

Hotel Hugo's rooftop reopened in 2026 on the 19th floor with hand-laid mosaic floors, Venetian-style lighting and a wall of white oak paneling meant to evoke old-world Venice rather than another glass box over the Hudson. One side centers on a curved bar backed by a tower of spirits; the other is set up as a lounge, with banquettes angled toward the river. The drinks move from lighter aperitivo-style pours like an elderflower spritz early on to mezcal and tequila cocktails later in the night. Food stays snack-sized: lobster rolls on mini brioche, tuna tartare, and a caviar-topped cone for the showier order.
