Justine's on Hudson

Justine Rosenthal opened this Hudson Street bistro with her father, longtime wine importer Neal Rosenthal, who built a list running past 50 estates. Chef Jeanne Jordan, previously of Mas, blends French technique with Filipino flavors, turning out a Wagyu hanger steak alongside beef tartare and a smoked crab and whitefish salad. The dining room runs to velvet seats, a dark walnut bar and brass railings under a single chandelier, seating just 30. It's open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 to 10:30pm, with walk-ins possible alongside Resy reservations.
