Petite Boucherie

Petite Boucherie sits on the corner of Christopher and Gay Streets, the smaller sibling of the original Boucherie a few blocks away and built around the same Belle Epoque-inspired look. The menu keeps to French bistro staples: escargot and a charcuterie board to start, then steak frites or a chateaubriand built for two as the main course. A traditional chocolate mousse, described as surprisingly hard to find done right in the U.S., closes things out. The kitchen runs from late morning into midnight every day, and OpenTable reservations are suggested rather than required.
