Color Factory

An interactive exhibit designed by event planner and blogger Jordan Ferney, this SoHo space has stayed at 251 Spring Street since opening in 2018. The rooms rotate seasonally: a confetti room that changes with the time of year, a piece by Carnovsky revealing hidden New York scenes under shifting colored light, and a disco-themed dance floor built around a DJ Spinderella playlist. One installation matches each day of the year to a color from an astrologer's chart, so visitors can look up their birthday. Every guest gets a scan card for the photo booths built into each room, plus a bag of treats on the way out.
