The Perfect Pint (East 45th)

The ground floor of this East 45th Street Irish pub is fairly plain, tan tile and dark wood under a big Guinness sign out front, but the upper floors get more creative, with tables built from barrels and stools made from kegs. Thirty beers are on tap, weighted toward familiar names like Sam Adams rather than anything obscure. It functions mainly as an after-work meeting spot for Midtown office groups rather than a destination in itself, and it serves pub food to go with the beer list.
