Alex Guarnaschelli has run the kitchen here since this restaurant first opened on Lafayette Street in 2002, before it moved to its current spot on West 45th Street in 2013. The Midtown dining room seats up to 175 under high arched ceilings and a large woodland mural, with a private room for 20 and a garden that holds 60 more. The seasonal American menu tracks the greenmarket rather than a fixed rotation. Lunch runs as a three-course prix fixe; dinner is ordered a la carte Tuesday through Saturday.
