A 900-foot aircraft carrier that survived multiple attacks during World War II now serves as the museum's main hall at Pier 86, docked on the Hudson. Visitors move between its indoor and outdoor decks to a walkable stretch of the submarine Growler, a retired British Airways Concorde, and NASA's prototype shuttle Enterprise parked on the flight deck. Twenty-eight aircraft fill the hangar bays and deck, and flight simulators, VR stations and a 4D theater round out the self-guided route.
