Desserts at this Flatiron patisserie are made to look like the fruit they're named for: a trompe l'oeil mango cake with a bright, tangy filling, and a pear that mimics real shadows across its glazed skin. A chocolate-dipped croissant named for the neighborhood also sits in the case. Seating is tight, better suited to coffee and a pastry than a lingering slice of cake, so most people leave with a box for later.
