Chocolate Room

Jon Payson and Naomi Josepher opened this Cobble Hill dessert shop in 2008, three years after their first Chocolate Room in Park Slope, built around the idea that a neighborhood needed a place organized entirely around chocolate. The three-layer blackout cake made Oprah's 'Favorite Things' list in 2007, and bonbons are sold by the box in sixes, dozens or two dozen. Beyond cake there's ice cream, hot chocolate, and coffee, open daily until 10pm.
