Amorino Gelato

A shop on Amsterdam Avenue near West 80th Street layers scoops into a spiral that comes out looking like a flower, one petal per flavor, so a single cone can carry several without an added per-scoop charge. All of the gelato is made with organic eggs and no artificial color or flavor. Beyond the case, there are macarons, crepes, waffles and hot chocolate for a slower stop. It's one of three Amorino locations this Italian gelato chain runs in Manhattan.
