Behind an unmarked door on St. Marks Place, a keypad and a decoded email get you into The Office of Mr. Moto, a small room furnished with antique Japanese curios built around a fictional backstory for its namesake. The chef's counter and few tables serve a multi-course omakase built on nigiri, with fish flown in daily and occasional detours like fatty blackthroat seaperch and baby cuttlefish. After dinner, guests move downstairs to the Library, a room with leather sofas and a self-playing piano.
