Trudie's Tavern

The team behind Gertie and Gertrude's opened Trudie's Tavern in June 2026, in Carroll Gardens' former Buttermilk Channel space. In place of bread service, the kitchen sends out a puffed brioche pretzel, and the bar will drop schmaltz into a martini on request. Rotisserie chicken arrives doused in a sweet onion jus, alongside raw bar plates and handkerchief egg noodles. The dining room takes reservations; the bar and lounge up front are walk-in only.
