Bobbi’s Italian Beef

A Chicago transplant on Smith Street, doing Vienna Beef hot dogs by the rulebook and Italian beef sandwiches piled high enough to fall apart partway through, plus tavern-style deep dish pizza. Order at the counter, where they'll ask hot or sweet peppers before the tray comes out, red plastic and all. Vintage Vienna Beef posters cover the walls, old movies loop silently on a TV, and a couple of arcade games sit in back for anyone waiting on their food. More than 40 Midwestern craft beers round out the cooler.
