Café Henri

This Long Island City bistro comes from the team behind Casa Enrique, serving plain, unfussy French food rather than anything trend-chasing: moules frites, coq au vin, escargot, and a build-your-own crepe on the all-day menu. The room reads as a cross between a French cafe and a neighborhood hangout, with mussels sized to split and eggs benedict a regular order at brunch. A sister location in Greenwich Village has since closed, leaving this LIC spot on its own.
