Le Crocodile sits on the ground floor of the Wythe Hotel, with high ceilings, arched windows and exposed brick walls around a long marble bar lit by space-age fixtures and a run of round booths. The kitchen runs a French brasserie menu built around a roasted half-chicken with crispy skin and a heap of fries, plus steak tartare, escargots and profiteroles. Service runs breakfast through dinner, with a group prix-fixe option for tables of eight or more.
