Bar Madonna

Eric Madonna and Ray Rando opened this Italian-American cocktail bar with chef Rob Zwirz, a Carbone and Lupa alum, and beverage director Rob Crowe. The kitchen turns a meatball parm into something closer to a smashburger (flattened, crisped, and topped with a parmesan crisp) alongside Calabrese hot wings and oxtail croquettes with blood orange marmalata. Fashion designer KidSuper contributed art throughout the room, which splits into several smaller sections under a two-story ceiling over the bar. It stays open past midnight most nights and until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
