The former Rabbithole space on Bedford Avenue now holds a lively bar up front, a dining room behind it, and a small patio tucked in the back, all under the name Layla. Aperitivo-style cocktails anchor the menu, including a Layla's Juice built from tequila, Aperol, ginger, pineapple and yuzu, alongside wines by the glass. European-inspired small plates run to oysters in cucumber mignonette, stracciatella with roasted squash, crab crostini and prawns in romesco. The setup rewards sharing across a table rather than ordering a private entree apiece.
